Land Rover Discovery 4×4 3.0 SDV6 HSE 5dr

The Land Rover Discovery used to be, many years ago, a car simply for the outdoor types. A car that farmers would buy for its off road capabilities and one that you would not often see under the bright lights of the city. All of this has changed now though, as you see Land Rover 4x4s absolutely everywhere. The 4×4 has been in vogue for a long time now and the latest high spec version of the Discovery, the Land Rover Discovery 4×4 3.0 SDV6 HSE 5dr should prove to be just as popular, its high price meaning that it will just be even more of a status symbol.

One of the reasons that the Land Rover discovery is so popular these days it that it is so large, the discovery can fit seven people inside so it is great for getting the kids to school. Add in the fact that it will even get you to school in the snow (and any other weather condition for that matter) and that it is unbelievably reliable and you get one of the best family cars out there. Not many families will be able to afford this high spec version but those who can should definitely consider it as it will last them for years and years and protect their family from the dangers of the road.

One of the other great benefits of the Land Rover is its smooth drive, if you like a sporty car then your will not get the best out of this on the roads (altough you could always take it off the road and do some all terrain driving!) but if you do like to glide around the roads, even if they are full of pot holes, then this could be the car for you.

At £50,000 the car is by no means cheap but this will not put a great deal of people off and with good reason too, it is a useful and exciting car all at once. Check out the Land Rover Discovery 4×4 3.0 SDV6 HSE 5dr and more like it at www.motors.co.uk.

Maybe I’m grouchy… maybe I’m a curmudgeon. Regardless, I am a fan of the American Le Mans Series. At last count I believe I’ve attended over 100 consecutive American Le Mans Series events… including the winter tests. After last week’s gathering at Long Beach, I wish my event count was 99.Sorry Mr. Atherton. You know I’m a HUGE ALMS supporter. But Long Beach […]

As driving enthusiasts, it’s a safe assumption that many of us have similar daydreams when it comes to our automotive passions. We may dream that we someday have enough skill to make it as a driver in a pro racing series, or find a classic Ferrari in good shape sitting in a barn with an owner that would be happy to get rid of it for $500. Another could be th […]

Sure, Audi’s legendary trio of Allan McNish, Tom Kristensen, and Dindo Capello had already wrapped up the overall and LMP1 win with time to spare and little competition outside of […]
  • Test Drive: A Pair of Sporty SUV’s March 20, 2012
Yea, we know. The name of this website is Sports Car Insider, and these two vehicles are certainly not sports cars. They’re not even sporty cars. Don’t worry – we’ll soon get back to reviewing cars that are at home on a track, but we also know that many of you own an SUV (or a Crossover, whatever you want to call it) as a daily driver or as something to get […]
  • Enduring Appeal February 11, 2012
When an overall Le Mans winner, Sebring class winner and double FIA GT champion tells a series organiser “don’t change a thing” about their championship, the series organiser in question had better listen. That’s exactly the message Monaco man Stéphane Ortelli had for the SRO Motorsports Group, organisers of the Blancpain Endurance Series, at the final round […]
