John Bullard named Honorary member of ICARS
Rick McClure (left), President of the Iredell County Amateur Radio Society (ICARS) is shown presenting John Bullard, director of Statesville Recreation and Parks Department, with an honorary membership into the society. This was given in recognition of his support to ICARS for its public service radio communications and field day activities within the county.
The society meets at 7 p.m. the second Thursday of every month at Julia's Talley House Restaurant in Troutman. Dutch dinner is at 6:30 p.m. Anyone who is interested in amateur radio is invited to attend the meetings. ICARS is a 501 c 3 approved organization.
