Suzuki Kizashi

It is all in the details in this premiere mid-size vehicle launched from Suzuki. One of the first full-size models introduced to our market in years, this is the largest model of Suzuki and its name is translated to ‘something great is coming’.

The design of the vehicle is impressive with the details that can be seen in the eighteen inch wheels and metal detail through the cross-grille of the vehicle. The design is finished with the traditional sporty finishes through the back and large metal exhaust systems, completing the athletic appearance of the vehicle.

Before buying, it is important to realize that there is only one finish and trim package that is available. The trim package that comes with the vehicle at the price range of under thirty thousand dollars is the only available option and therefore the customer will either like the car, or not like the car – and choose to buy the car or not buy the car.

Features that are included in the vehicle include the ten way movement of the seats, telescopic steering, USP and IPod controls, full airbag systems and climate control system in the vehicle. Many customers are disappointed that there is one feature that is lacking, as there is no GPS unit within the vehicle and there is no unit that is available as an add-on from the factory models. Aside from this fact however, the vehicle is comparable with other full size models that are available from competing brands of vehicles.

Maybe I’m grouchy… maybe I’m a curmudgeon. Regardless, I am a fan of the American Le Mans Series. At last count I believe I’ve attended over 100 consecutive American Le Mans Series events… including the winter tests. After last week’s gathering at Long Beach, I wish my event count was 99.Sorry Mr. Atherton. You know I’m a HUGE ALMS supporter. But Long Beach […]

As driving enthusiasts, it’s a safe assumption that many of us have similar daydreams when it comes to our automotive passions. We may dream that we someday have enough skill to make it as a driver in a pro racing series, or find a classic Ferrari in good shape sitting in a barn with an owner that would be happy to get rid of it for $500. Another could be th […]

  • Test Drive: A Pair of Sporty SUV’s March 20, 2012
Yea, we know. The name of this website is Sports Car Insider, and these two vehicles are certainly not sports cars. They’re not even sporty cars. Don’t worry – we’ll soon get back to reviewing cars that are at home on a track, but we also know that many of you own an SUV (or a Crossover, whatever you want to call it) as a daily driver or as something to get […]
  • Enduring Appeal February 11, 2012
When an overall Le Mans winner, Sebring class winner and double FIA GT champion tells a series organiser “don’t change a thing” about their championship, the series organiser in question had better listen. That’s exactly the message Monaco man Stéphane Ortelli had for the SRO Motorsports Group, organisers of the Blancpain Endurance Series, at the final round […]
